An article about Gellar's new series in the Sept. 2 issue of Entertainment Weekly, reveals that the actress hired many of the same crew from Buffy to join her on Ringer (of which she's also a co-executive producer), including the camera operator, costume designer, the hair and makeup team - and craft services. Gellar describes her new show as "Cruel intentions meets Buffy" In related news, Jason Dohring, a star of one of our other all-time favorite series, Veronica Mars, has also joined the cast of Ringer. He'll play a teacher.

Supernatural aims to slay you by reuniting Buffyverse alumni Charisma Carpenter and James Marsters — aka Cordelia and Spike — in one of its Season 7 episodes.

What’s more, the two actors, who previously worked together both on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and its David Boreanaz-fronted spin-off Angel, will be playing husband and wife on the spooktacular drama.  Watch for this glorious genre-gasm to come in the new season’s fifth episode, titled “Shut Up, Dr. Phil.”

Sarah is to appear in a pilot of a new drama called Ringer.

The show is about a troubled young woman on the run, who tries to escape by posing as her wealthy twin sister. She then discovers her sister's life has a 'bounty' on it as well.

Eliza Dushku to voice Catwoman

Bryan Cranston, Ben McKenzie, Eliza Dushku and Katee Sackhoff have been tapped to star as the voices in Batman: Year One, the adaptation of the Frank Miller comic book classic from Warner Premiere, DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation.

Lauren Montgomery and Sam Liu are directing the movie, the 12th entry in the successful series of DC universe animated originals. Tab Murphy wrote the script.

Joss turned down movie

Joss Whedon won't be working on Warner Bros.' upcoming Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie remake/reboot, but apparently he could have. According to "studio insiders," Whedon was approached about the new project, but passed on it to work on other things (like The Avengers). Just thought we'd clear the air, as previous news implied that he wasn't invited to the party.
