James Marsters, who played Spike on Buffy and Angel, will be appearing in the Battlestar Galactica prequel, Caprica, according to According to Entertainment Weekly columnist Michael Ausiello, Marsters will reportedly play “a dangerous terrorist leader by the name of Barnabus Greeley in a minimum of three episodes,” says Ausiello. Caprica will premiere on Syfy on January 22, 2010.

Angel is sexiest vampire

Readers of Hello magazine voted Angel (played by David Boreanaz) the “sexiest vampire,” edging out Twilight’s Edward Cullen (played by Robert Pattinson). Angel received 34 percent of the vote, while Cullen got 33 percent – 22 votes separated them. True Blood’s Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) came in third with 11 percent.

Angel kicks butt

Buffy the Vampire Slayer creator Joss Whedon is not impressed with the fighting prowess of Edward Cullen – the brooding vampire heartthrob from the Twilight saga. Whedon told MTV News that Angel would not only best Edward in a fight, he would “kick the s--- out of him.”
