Dark horse Comics announced at San Francisco’s WonderCon earlier this month that it would begin publishing Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Season Nine six months after the 40-issue eighth season wraps this year. While Season Eight unfolded over three years, Dark Horse added that the ninth season would be "more concise.
